Today's Gospel Reading: Mark 8:11-13 - Monday, 12 February 2018
The Pharisees look for a heavenly sign as evidence of Jesus' qualifications. Jesus refuses such a display for them. The most powerful sign He presented to them was the pattern of His life and teaching. If they failed to see God at work there, no heavenly spectacular would convince them.
As Christians, the sign we offer our world is a faith that sustains us in good times as well as bad times.
