Apostle of the gentiles, Paul, the greatest witness of them all,
you turned to Christ, the risen Lord, when out of light you heard Him call.
You journeyed far and wide to tell that Christ was risen from the dead,
that all who put their faith in Him would live for ever, as He said.
To Father, Son and Spirit blest, the light of man's uncharted ways,
with all the Church throughout the world give glory and unceasing praise.
Prayer: Today, Lord, we celebrate the conversion of Saint Paul, Your chosen vessel for carrying Your name to the whole world. Help us to make our way towards You by following in his footsteps, and by witnessing to Your truth before the men and women of our day. We make our prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
